In the city…

… for a few days to earn some money before college starts again on Monday.

This means several things: my boss asking me to work ‘New York hours’ when I am in London as he is in my favourite city this week; getting lunch at Wasabi and paying £5 for some rice and nori with some coloured bits in; wearing a suit; dishing the dirt with my with superior’s son (who is an exception to the wunch rule)… who got into a fight last night and is sporting a black eye…

I think I confused a guy today who was trying to set up a meeting with a new colleague of ours, a Mr Pete Tyler… “You could try to call him” say I “but I think he’s moved to an alternate universe.” *blank look* He obviously needs to watch more DW goddammit.

I’m looking forward to going back to college but my head doesn’t. I can’t sleep, I keep thinking about all the things we have to do (paint study walls, get builders, buy food, try to see some friends, research my next two projects on ad campaigns, feel guilty that my other half has no money and is paying the mortgage for two of us as I am a skanky student), oi, I am tired! As I said in my last post someone please give me my mojo back. I need to get a routine as Gamba said today.

This weekend I hope to get some preliminary college work shot on the theme of ‘space’. A very wide brief. I’m thinking spaces inbetween things or maybe negative spaces. I am also very tempted to run away to Kent and photograph huts and nuclear powerstations.

Dolly friends, I am keenly feeling the lack of an RBL – can’t wait until the dark haired primagirls come out, me want one but I am poor, oh noes.

Lastly, I would link to it but this is a family blog… but has anyone seen all the palava on tinternet about the guy and his horsewife? You got it, a horsewife. Hide my eyes and pass the brain bleach.

I hear you. I have lost my mojo, have no central heating, need to get builders into the new flat, and am avoiding W1 in a bid to win a record for not leaving the house for a week. Its just full of idiots looking for things to buy anyway. I hope your new place is coming along nicely and thanks for the xmas card :)

That alternate universe comment is a stroke of genius, Bobble. Hope they gift you a nice juicy January bonus for no other reason than you being you and what not.
