Just got back from seeing ‘The Prestige’.
Wow.
I can’t really say much about it as I’ll give something away but I guarantee you’ll be talking about it all the way home after watching it.
Christian Bale again surprises me. That man, given a decent script, really can act. He draws you in and hooks you.
Do yourself a favour; avoid the new 007 movie and treat yourself to this.

I would… but for some reason, both the multiplexes in Derby, and also the one in Burton, have both declined to show it. It’s only on at a small cinema in Nottingham.
How outrageous is that?
I read the book last month and really enjoyed it – I know they’ve mucked around the story a bit (making them both friends to start with, which never happened in the book), but I’m looking forward to how they do “the Prestige” itself…
Saw “The Host” last week – and that was ace!
