I signed up for Broadband with Talktalk in the middle of July. The idiots forgot to put my order through, and so I got shunted to the back of the queue. Eventually, I had a letter from them saying that it should be ready yesterday (17th) but no sign of my modem yet, so I've no idea if it's actually been made live. Ho hum. Good job I've got a 3G card for my laptop which I've been using since the beginning of July - or else I'd still be using crappy steam-powered dialup, which I'm lucky to get 34Kbs out of. Technology!
