BT have told us that due to “engineering issues” we can’t have a phone line for two weeks after we move in*. Two weeks without a voice line doesn’t bother us much as we both have mobiles but two weeks without a data line for our broadband…
NO INTERNET FOR TWO WEEKS
… I may go mad. Or become a cave dwelling hermit.
*This reminds me of when I lived in Italy and it took a month - sometimes longer - to get a phone installed. Remind me what century I am living in again?
