Yep, another free blogging platform that has got it oh so right.
Friend tracking features by the bucket load – check
Free – check
No HTML and cool templates – check
Just plain fun – checkity check
Private, semi-private and worldwide marked posts – oh yes
Total integration with Flickr and music sites – damn straight!
Vox is totally brilliant and I really hope it catches on as the platform of choice for disillusioned Eljayers.
The only thing Eljay has over Vox are it’s well established communities: you want to be in a community about Midget Porn? It’s there. Want to write about Snape’s unholy lust for Draco? There are several of those communities baby.
Nicest thing about Vox? It’s just so pretty.

Looks purdy – although when I try to view it I get a dodgy script running somewhere. Mind you, this happened to me on another site today as well, so it may be my computer. Is it totally non-HTML or can you play if you want?

It’s Flickr – that’s got a bug today and it’s screwing up loads of stuff – damn you Flickr!
Not tried to tinker yet, but you can choose column layouts in your template and what objects you want – like audio or photos or list of recent comments. As for real HTML I’ve not looked…

Oh! It looks lurvely. Perhaps I will change. Are you making it your new home?

I signed up to this because it was new and shiny but I have no friends on there.
Have added you to my ‘hood’. Hope that’s ok!

Gamba – No I’ll still have this blog (my own hosted personal one) but for community team blogging (which I do on LJ) I’m hoping my mates will shift to Vox for that as it’s so much nicer.
Ken – Nice to see you on Vox (and here)! It’s a bit tumbleweed on ‘my neighbourhood’ at the moment. Just us mad Japanese dolly collecting girls. Saw your pix on Flickr – Polly looks happy mum-to-be!

You seem to have a good collection of Blythe-collecting neighbours on Vox. I guess it’s exactly the kind of thing Vox was aiming for.
Polly is a very happy mum-to-be, yes, and I’m a very happy dad-to-be! Ask me again how happy I am when I am deprived of sleep, ooh, sometime in December…

My alter ego is right, though – it does look purdy.

Well if you have some going spare I wouldn’t mind a play around. It’s about time I started recolonising my blog empire…

Well, you know if you have one going spare I would rather like to play
