Saturday night looks like a bumper night for the hard disk recorder.

BBC4 - my favourite channel - is starting to repeat that BBC classic “I Claudius” staring every British actor from just about forever. What a treat for the next 12 weeks.

To get us in the mood BBC4 are warming up with a programme about toga-wearing in the movies and on TV.

To finish we have the start of a 13 week run of “Up Pompeii!” Titter ye not. So cheesy it should be good.
