Bildungsroman

I suppose I’m a bit late reading The Diamond Age by Neal Stephenson considering it came out in 1995, but anyhow, I’ve just read it.

The sheer amount of ideas in the book is astounding.

    Yes, it’s rather good isn’t it?

    Good use of plausable nanotech, on the whole.

    Personally I found the ending a bit weak but as the other 99% of the book was ace, I’ll let him off :-)

    I want to know what happened to Nell, the Army, to the Victorians, to the seed etc etc etc. Guess we will never know as he’s now writing about totally different stuff.
