Toscana ed Umbria

The hill before Montalcino

Well we’re back. Bags of unwashed clothes and a leaden sky.

I have seen so much and tasted so many wonderful things. I have met so many people and seen many local festas. I fear my blog entries about Tucsany and Umbria will fill a good few pages.

I took about 550 digital pictures and four rolls of 120 medium format film wth my Lubitel. Oh dear.

Two things uppermost in my mind; deep emerald green fields and hot blue skies. Is it any wonder British people are depressed seeing grey skies every day?

Le sigh.

    It was great - both lubi and the trip. The camera was so easy to handle and use (admittedly I used it on infinity focus exclusively as I was using it for lanscapes) and got some great curious looks from people. Especially as I used my digital SLR as a ‘light meter’ for it.
