Since getting my macro lens (canon EF 100mm on canon 350d) I’ve been experimenting with food photography - and doing more baking. I’d really like a job doing this.

They’re very good pictures. Since you’re ‘between jobs’ at the moment, perhaps you could try doing work experience at a commercial photographers. When I worked in PR we used various photographers to do the work for various things, including the Packshot Factory in London, which was great fun (taking Christmas pictures of festively decorated bottles of wine!)

Ahhh if my gran’s cakes looked like this I’d actually eat them. Brava.
(But mind you don’t go too heavy on the colourings, you know you’ll get hyper and shouted at for jumping on the sofa).
