Hi Bobble! I could not find Blythe at TAKARA’s official homepage, but it seems TAKARA’s. I could find them at auction. How much does it usually cost in UK? It seems about 5000 – 30000 yen here including second handed. I wonder if you can buy them through, Japanese online shop (I am not sure if you can or not though), would it be cheaper?!?!

YT – Abso-bloody-lutely chicky.
Topo – CWC International distribute them in Asia and to buy them new your either have to be in some sort of lottery, for the limited ones, or have an Asian shipping address to buy online direct (Hasbro USA own the rights, Takara make them and CWC design and market them in Asia – very convoluted).
Roach – I have to do a ‘sleepy eyes customisation’ on her for that – where’s my crochet hook…

Blythe! Where oh where did you get them Bobble? I had a Blythe doll and I loved them! How absolutely precious! Brings back fond memories of childhood!

You have to import them from Asia or buy them on evilbay. If you go to This is Blythe you will find out all about it. I had one as a child too, the were brilliant.
