Snip, prod, gone

Well my mole is no more, bye bye. Apart from feeling a bit dizzy, I’m
good. It is most weird though having no sensation whatsoever on one
side of your back…

A piece of advice needed from the 20Six ladies. I seem to be allergic
(as said to Cheapy) to my new face wash (Clarins) so I am going back to
good old Clinque soap for a while. However, I now appear to be allergic
to my Clinque eye cream! My eye area skin just feels sore, dry and
flaky. What the Dickens is going on?

So, any good eye creams for delicate skin that don’t make you weep, sting or go itchy-flaky?

Ta.

Contrary to appearance, I have rhino hide but that Mario Badescu that I use is very natural and mild.

Hi Bobble, just a quick warning – Clinique soap is not good for sensitive skin (too alkaline and harsh). There are other, better products in their range. I have a superb book at home with lots of products rated in it, so if you like I can email you a list tonight. It’s a lifesaver!
I have had lots of trouble with eye creams in the past – especially with All ABout Eyes (Clinique) and Eye Rescue (Molton Brown). I can find you some eye creams later if you like. If my skin is irritated in the first place, my normally-fine eye cream can start to sting after I apply it.
If my eyes get really sore, I stop using eye cream for a couple of days. I dab on the tiniest tiniest amount of weak hydrocortisone cream on the sorest bits – no more than once or twice per day for a max of 2 days (otherwise it can thin the skin). I only do this a couple of times per year.
One little known fact is that is you have a light, simple, unperfumed moisturiser that’s very comfortable on your skin, it is safe to dab it around your eyes every now and then.

i think i read the most disturbing article in my life the other day about a guy who lightly fried his mate’s mole and ate it.
sorry – massive case of ‘over-share’ there.

I think the Doc has disposed of it now Dan, but thanks.

Cheaps! Please email me. I am wearing some very mild facial cream around my eyes today as they are so so dry but even that seems to sting! Mmmm I usually use all Clinque but have never liked the soaps. I thought by using a face wash I wouldn’t have to use a soap (Clinque don’t do a facial wash as far as I know only the soap or a foaming make-up remover.) The eye cream is the STOP one you recently bought which just stings like buggery at the moment but as the area is so tight/itchy/rough (as is my face after that facewash) I have to use something! Sorry for rambling hon…

Anyway what to do? I used to be able to use a bottled cleanser but since they changed my pill (again!) I have gone from a normal/dry skin type with allergies to a combination (oily t-zone and a normal/dry cheek) with allergies. I find if I don’t use a with water type cleaner I get very oily in the middle. Damn those Doctors. So I need some options that will suit the oily bit, the normal bit, the normal/dry eye area AND my alllergies. Any solutions? Please?
