EDIT: Hee hee only a few hours to go, and as I did all my work yesterday a day of ‘work blogging’ lies ahead I think… then Holland. I am such a lucky girl.

I’m off for the Bank Holiday weekend to fascinating Amsterdam.

We are staying in an area of the city I have never been to before: Eastern Docklands. It sounds an interesting and architecturally challanging place with the 17th century venacular Dutch style updated for the 21st century – in the practical yet novel Dutch way. We staying at a wonderful place on Shipwrights Street.

Maybe this might be another neighbourhood to look at when we move here in 2006/7!

I’ll try to post my ‘picture diary’ when I get back.
