I’m off to be interviewed and tested (logical reasoning thingies I
think) at 3.30. Think of me will you when you are on your tea break?
The job is a good stopgap between now and going back to my postgrad
studies/moving to Amsterdam. It is well paid, not in an investment bank
(although it is a related business) and I have my own office and
personal secretary.
The only downside is that it is in the wilds of outer Hounslow: with the emphasis on slow I think.

Estates Agents are bastards Midget, the turn up late and then say “Oh didn’t we tell you that one has already been let?” We saw three and the best one was in Barnes (just off the High Street), but was painted deathly yellow. Still looking unfortunately.

There is good news about Hounslow – you can get a direct train from Barnes to there, takes about 20 mins.
So that’s “quite good” for our plan to move to Barnes

Hmm, they also run from Barnes Bridge, every 15 mins. Not sure how far this place is from Hounslow station, but it could be a very convenient job indeed ….
