Finally get out of London.
Move to Amsterdam [Mr Bobble can actually work here unlike Venezia] to a cozy, funkily designed basement flat in the Grachtengordel with own studio/gallery space. Have multilingual kids and ferry them around on my kinderbucket bike. Eat out on the Utrechtsestraat on a Saturday night.
2011-12
Move back home and never leave.

it’s good to have a plan.
sadly mine now consists of making someone realise they love me and get a job with puppies and kittens

Bobble, remember that even MAKING a plan is a huge step forward. It means in 15 years time, when you look back to now, you’ll realy KNOW what you didn’t get around to doing.
Your plans all seem do-able. to learn a new language, i highly recommend Pimsleur language. I speak a reasonable amount of Russian (reasonable enough to watch and understand Russian cartoons without subtitles – which is pretty amazing considering I’ve never been to Russia or know any Russians) and they do all sorts of languages (Thai, Vietnamese, Dutch, Swiss German, Portuguese, Ojibwe….)
Moving to Grachtengordel.. is that a posh part of Amsterdam? (it doesn’t exactly trip off the tongue, though, does it)

It’s great to have some definite sense of what you want in the future, but it always helps to have a few contingency plans along the way! (ie enjoy life as it comes regardless) I think getting away from the wunch will do wonders!

Plans. I had a five year one once. It lasted a week. But maybe you are more the Condoleezza Rice type and it will all work out swimmingly.
