Forgotten Reasons

A bottle of vodka – half full

A bottle of silver nail vanish – a quarter full

A walking stick  – wooden

A potted geranium – still growing

A yellow flip-flop – small

An address book – puce

A hinge – screws missing

Things that have been thrown on top of bus shelters on my route to work.  It makes you wonder at the reasons behind this mass abandonment…

Why, by whom, when?

The vodka’s wee & some old guy can’t reach his walking stick. The rest were thrown there by thugs, I’ll bet.

But atleast you’re an optimist. I’d say that nail varnish was three quarters empty.

I would be fascinated by the address book – you could write to everyone to find out if they knew who the owner of the book was and ….sometimes I worry that I think about things too much. But, there’s a fantastic idea for a novel there with the address book….
